- Shop Team led by APM Owner Mike Melin (30+ years of experience) who is on the shop floor for most of the day.
- Skilled and experienced CNC Journeyman machinists who are able to continuously "QC" your parts.
- Machinists who are able to quickly set up and program for next part run to allow for greater efficiency on small part runs.
- Frequent training for shop team on latest technology.
- All Mazak CNC machines. Equipped with the latest technology and with production features such as live tooling on the lathes and pallet changers on the mills.
- 6 Lathes and 4 Milling centers averaging 3 years old (Please see Equipment page), including a New Mazak 450II MY installed August 2010.
- Mazak trained service technician on staff.
- Extensive Quality Control tools including Mitutoyo CMM, licensed Gaugemaster Thread Program, Optical Comparator, Hardness and Surface Testers, and related measuring instruments.
- 6 year old 12,000 sq ft. shop complete with overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Each machine center has it’s own jib crane, air exhaust systems, and vacuum de-burring table for parts clean-up.

- ISO 9001/2008 certified.
- Canadian Controlled Goods Program (for military type work).
- Standard practices include material tracking (mill certs), APM or Customer inspections sheets, and Customer Quality Assurance programs.
- Company Safety Program – excellent safety record.
- Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).
- Internet business friendly for RFQs, Invoicing etc.
Most CAD drawing formats are supported.
- We can provide a complete parts management service involving different sub-contractors (i.e. heat treating and plating).
You issue 1 PO and receive 1 Invoice. Timed releases can be arranged.
